Be progressive. Be ahead of yourself.
Combining traditional journalism with creative writing is the foundation of modern media. An overlap of feature writing, narrative literature, and creative approach, the method is widely used, but the fundamentals are still unclassified.
Writing across genres and mediums, you’ll be challenged to adapt different styles of writing, while keeping your voice (somewhat) intact.
Be one step ahead from the world and dissect the craft in creative journalism. This is not clickbait, nor propaganda. This is a simple combination of logic, white space, and storytelling.
1. Understand and apply basic journalistic theories
2. Understand and apply creative writing methods
3. Construct articles using two fundamentals
4. Read critically and analyze content and context of reading materials
5. Develop editing and revising skills
